TANNANA

We aim for more agile, more efficient flight with less noise

TANNANA is a flying car in development for vertical take-off and landing, with land and water landing capabilities as design targets. Ground movement supports manoeuvring, positioning and parking within operating areas. The two-seat CROW is the family’s first crewed model in development

Humming Propulsion System

By God’s grace, the TANNANA concept is made possible by Humming Propulsion. For more than a decade, we have believed that flying with the agility of birds requires a propulsion system designed specifically for that mission. That pursuit became Humming Propulsion: an architecture we are developing to generate and direct force from within the propulsion unit itself, giving the vehicle a wider control and manoeuvring envelope

Work builds up. The team grows

Evolving prototypes, expertise joining the journey, and a test rig connecting calculation with measurement

March 2026: the generation-five single-stage configuration was tested on the rig. Since June 2026: generation six is in development. Ground validation comes next, followed by flying validation before a crewed programme. Detailed technical results are available to qualified investors and partners under NDA

Understand the physics. Expand what is possible

We begin with a question, form a hypothesis, and test it through calculation, simulation and experiment. We compare predictions with measurements, then bring what we learn back into the design. This is how knowledge accumulates and the propulsion system develops, generation after generation

Frequently asked questions

How has aviation changed in recent years?

Aviation is advancing rapidly in propulsion, flight control, electric flight and vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) technologies. These developments are opening the way for a new generation of aircraft and applications that were not previously possible in the same form

Why have flying vehicles not yet become widespread?

The challenge extends beyond getting a vehicle airborne. It includes propulsion efficiency, energy consumption, noise reduction, control, safety, cost and obtaining the regulatory approvals needed for operation

Who is HPS Aviation, and what is it developing?

HPS Aviation specialises in developing aviation propulsion technology. Its engineering solutions aim to support a new generation of aircraft capable of vertical take-off and landing. It approaches propulsion efficiency from a new perspective, targeting lower energy consumption, less noise and faster control responses, while addressing safety and reducing cost

What propulsion system is HPS Aviation developing?

It is an engineered system designed to generate thrust and contribute to controlling an aircraft’s movement, with the aim of meeting vertical take-off and landing requirements and improving performance efficiency

What distinguishes HPS Aviation’s technology from conventional solutions?

The engineering concept is to develop a propulsion architecture that aims to integrate lift, control and operating efficiency, allowing greater flexibility in aircraft design. The targeted advantages are subject to validation through engineering tests

What is TANNANA CROW, and how does it relate to HPS technology?

TANNANA CROW is an aircraft concept being developed by HPS Aviation to illustrate future applications of the propulsion system and its potential use in vehicles serving multiple purposes

What has HPS Aviation achieved so far?

The company’s journey spans more than a decade of research and development. It has included multiple engineering generations, studies, simulations and tests to develop the propulsion system in preparation for more advanced stages of practical validation

Which applications and markets does HPS technology target?

Potential applications include air transport, logistics, emergency services and the transport of medical supplies. Additional applications may be explored in accordance with the technical and regulatory requirements of each use

What would funding HPS Aviation’s next phase enable?

Funding is intended to support system development, testing and engineering validation of performance, and progress towards a flying demonstrator. This would help translate research and engineering achievements into practical results that can be evaluated

How can I contact HPS Aviation investor relations?

This form is only a request to contact investor relations. The team reviews the enquiry and applicable requirements before determining next steps. Submitting it does not create an investor account or grant investment rights or data-room access
