How does our work connect?

Knowledge moves between disciplines, with each team carrying part of the responsibility. Select a discipline to explore its people or the role we need to fill

  1. Understand and analyse

Computational fluid dynamics studies airflow and operating alternatives. Findings inform the design team’s development choices

  2. Design and build

Modelling and industrial design connect with mechanical design and production to turn ideas into parts and prototypes that can be assembled and tested

  3. Integrate and control

Hardware, controls and embedded software connect the components and support operation and data acquisition within the system

  4. Test and review

Measurements address the engineering question, and test findings feed back into analysis and design. We are building out the dedicated test and measurement capability

  5. Document and communicate

We are building the communications and content team to document development, prepare public material and engage with audiences in coordination with engineering

Experimental findings return to the team, so the next design builds on what we learned

Growing with the programme

We add expertise as we move from ground validation to flight and crewed vehicle development. Our careers page brings together the roles and their timing
