Approximately 20 years connecting research and development with factory management and company building. He leads HPS strategy, products, team development and partnerships, turning engineering progress into a programme that can be delivered and scaled
Ahmed Fawzy Hamza began propulsion research in 2015, personally financed its initial phase and committed full-time to the programme in 2024. He established the UAE company in 2025 and the Malaysian engineering base later that year, bringing together engineers, advisers and delivery partners
His career combines leadership of mechanical prototype development in research centres and workshops, maintenance and production management in high-pressure aluminium die casting, and management of yacht and trailer factories. He reduced production cost by 15% while maintaining quality, developing experience that connects design with sourcing, manufacturing and delivery
Since 2017, he has founded 5 companies across energy, industrial services and manufacturing. At HPS, he leads product vision, the technology and intellectual-property roadmap, and capital priorities, linking team growth to the evidence required at each programme stage
He currently holds interim Chief Engineer responsibilities alongside his executive role. The growth plan includes a CTO to lead engineering delivery and discipline integration, while the founder continues to lead strategy, organisational development and partnerships
